Please inform us of dietary restrictions or preferences at the time you place your order. Our meals are served family style.

If you or someone else in your party is allergic to nuts, please inform us.  Because we use various nuts in several menu items, it's imperative we are aware of these allergies to ensure the proper menu selection.

Indicates can be made VEGETARIAN.

Groovin’ Gourmets Need to Know Ordering Information:

Special events are handled separately and guaranteed with a written contract.

You can order 3 ways:

  1. Call: 804-868-8900 to speak with one of our coordinators and place your order.
  2. Email: food@groovingourmets.com (E-mail orders require minimum of 48 hours notice from confirmation phone call. Please do not email same day orders.)
  3. Fax: 804-868-8901.

All orders will be confirmed with a phone call. If you do not receive a confirmation call within several hours of placing your order, please contact us.

  1. 24 hour notice is requested. Orders placed within 24 hours of event are limited to menu availability.

  2. Cancellation: Groovin' Gourmets requires 24 hour notice to cancel your event. We begin preparing orders very early in the morning, therefore, we may be unable to accommodate cancellations and reductions if placed on the day the order is to be delivered and may require billing of the full balance. We will be happy to redirect your meal to another location with adequate notice. Weekend orders must be cancelled before 12:00 pm Friday.

    Groovin’ Gourmets assumes no liability for order cancellations transmitted by web, fax, or answering machine, until we confirm your cancellation by a return phone call.

  3. Pickup orders: Orders must be paid in full prior to your arrival. Just pull up to our building and we’ll bring the food directly to your car. We request a phone call if you are not going to be within 15 minutes of your pick up time.

  4. E-mail Invoices: (Our clients love this!) We send confirmation and final payments via email. Confirmation emails will be sent to you within hours of placing your order. Please review them to ensure the order is accurate. A final confirmation email is automatically sent to you the day before each event and receipt of payment is emailed the day of the event.

  5. Delivery: We deliver where you want it! A $20.00 fee is added to most areas in Greater Richmond. Delivery to Fredericksburg, Charlottesville and Tidewater is also available. Please inquire for details and pricing.

  6. Delivery Drivers: Our large number of drivers are knowledgeable with many area office locations and set up requirements. We are in constant communication with each driver. In the rare event that something is missing from your order, please call us immediately. We can usually correct a problem within minutes.

  7. Presentation: Our food is presented on quality black disposable trays (cold/room temp food) and small and large aluminum foil pans (hot foods) ready for you to open and enjoy. Baked goods are presented in bakery boxes. Disposable wire rack chafers (to keep your food warmer longer) and paper tablecloths are available for additional fees.

  8. Disposables: We proudly use eco-friendly Sugarcane disposable paper plates. Black (plastic) cutlery kits, paper cups & styrofoam coolers(when drinks are purchased) and black plastic serving utensils are also included.


    For a more upscale presentation, black plastic, heavy duty, disposable plates and rolled cutlery are available for an additional fee. Silver service (real linens, chinaware, glassware, stainless steel chafing dishes, servers, etc. ) is available upon request and is priced per event. Click to see our special event menus.

  9. Gift certificates: Gift certificates are available at your request.

  10. Weekend Orders: We are happy to accept Saturday orders by 12:00 noon Friday.

  11. Terms of Payment: Regular clients are on net 30 day terms. First time orders must be secured with a credit card or a cleared check at the time of placing your order. We accept checks, American Express, MasterCard, Visa, and Discover for payment.

  12. Late charges: Payments made after 30 days of event will be subject to a $10.00 fee or 2% of remaining balance, whichever is greater, calculated monthly.

Groovin’ Gravy

Groovin’ Gravy is redeemable for food and services provided by Groovin’ Gourmets. Maximum amount that can be earned in a 6 month period is $500. Start today by calling or emailing us to get signed up for Groovin’ Gravy. Credits will accrue from sign up date until 7/1/08. Those signing on after 7/01/08, credits will accrue from sign up date until December 31, 2008. Clients need only to sign up once. Credits must be used 6 months from date of issue. Credits are not redeemable for cash.

Groovin’ Gravy will be awarded on 7/1/08 and 12/31/08.
